Rules & responsible practices 🌿

The Lac Blanc Refuge sits high above the Chamonix valley. At 2,350 meters, it is perfectly positioned to admire one of the world’s most stunning mountain ranges.

In the heart of the Aiguilles Rouges Nature Reserve, the Lac Blanc Refuge is an unmissable stop on the Tour du Mont Blanc.

To preserve this exceptional mountain haven, with its remarkable biodiversity and breathtaking landscapes, the refuge team strives to keep its impact to a minimum so that these priceless wonders endure for generations to come:

  • Our energy is generated from lake water and solar panels, so electricity is limited.
  • We draw our water from the lake, and it is not drinkable.

Let’s be contemplative, curious, and full of wonder, but let’s not forget that its preservation depends on each of us.
